John Moller Q.SM, is a former long-serving member of the New Zealand Army, a Vietnam Veteran who served with 4RAR and 6RAR (NZ) ANZAC Infantry Battalions in South Vietnam 1968 - 69.
He is also an internationally published poet whose work "On Chunuk Blair" has been read at Gallipoli Commemorations. John is also a published novelist and artist.
His love of, and involvement in pottery has been fostered by his wife Natalie Harrop who has taught him the rudiments of working with clay. John and Natalie have recently migrated to Australia from New Zealand, bringing with them many years experience with pottery.
Working in stoneware clay, John creates distinctive and unusual figures and plaques for hanging or placing on poles. Three of John's brightly-coloured totem poles already adorn the front entrance to the gallery at Whiteman Park.
